best anime true... best sci fi is stretching it a litte. I take it then you have never read any of Asimov, the Enders series, or just about any of the seventy and eighties stuff. This is a great anime and good science fiction but if it comes down to it its not in my top ten best SciFi.

bakabt has the ost for the movie in both mp3 and flac for download. it is a siteyou need to register wiht, but its completely free, and an amazing site for most anime!! yes, i am a member.....lol. the only thing they expect of you is to seed atleast to what youve downloaded uploaded/seeded = downloaded/leached. they also have a very good dual audio vsn of the series by grey phantom, aswell as the series ost, and mangas. enjoy!
http://www.bakabt.com/ if you dont trust my post(which if i was in your shoes with all the driveby virus uploads n stuff i wouldnt) google it, and youll see there it is legit., once again, enjoy and my handle there is the same as what im posting under here.

it certainly does present more daunting brain challenges, in of itself it is an amazing love story, and adventure. soundtrack is as always amazing as is the animation, but the daunting mental challenges come from the inner meaning and soul put into the entire series and movie, both internally as their interconnectedness between the worlds, but the meaning and lessons about life and tolerance as well as fighting for what is right and the preciousness of love. ive never seen a series with so much to say to the world at large as well as the world within. ive probobaly watched the movie 20 times since i downloaded it july 2nd, and every time ive come away with a better understanding of the movie and how intertwined the storylines truely are, many ppl say the characters are so dfferent personalty wise, yet they are the same, the only difference is their reactions tempered by pain, and ill fate. i could see the holland on this side being just as ruthless, as the movie one

To the creator of this site: Agreed! E7 is the best anime ever! It's also the best science fiction story ever, in my opinion.

To gp_72, thanks for the hint! I just watched the movie twice and didn't get it. Enjoyed it immensely, but didn't get it. I didn't even get it when holland saw the carved moon after going through the zone, but it totally makes sense that it's the other side of the rift. I felt good about understanding the series, but this story has laid down yet another daunting brain challenge. I will be watching the movie over and over until I figure out the connections between the two universes.

nanashi has subbed the movie in 720 p, ive been watching and rewatching it for a few days, its not a sequel, or retelling or different mythos in the usual sense, it is the other side of the rift created by the scubs experience with the limit of questions(as discussed in acperience 4 ep 47), and this was the events that occured within the divergent universe adjacent to the series universe. the only thing i will say is the movie is absolutely beautiful, the best anime movie ive ever seen, every time i watch it it brings me to the brink of tears, it is that powerful. as amazing as the series was and as amazing as i expected the movie to be, even i couldnt comprehend what my soul was about to absorb. it was so much beyond anything i could have ever hoped for, just utterly amazing. if your confused, rewatch it a 2nd time, youll have to to truely understand. i know i did. i havent words to describe how amazing this movie is. i absolutely loved it, and am even more obsessed. absolutely amazed

I Can't even express my lvoe for the anime its self, its truly such a great anime.. its my personal timeless classic and i don't think it will ever be outclassed in my books.

I can easily agree... I never really go on about something being the best, but after E7 i watched some Several new anime's and while they were good...They didn't give me that sort of feeling that i had with E7.

Its the same kind of feeling i had when i first watched Outlaw Star, it was amazing.

THe things that made Eureka Seven so amazing were definitely
    -The Story
    -Character Development
    -Art Style
    -Music Score
    -The Actors

What am i saying...I cant even begin to imagine this Show with a different Soundtrack.. Now we just gotta wait for the movie to be brought out on dvd/blu-ray so i can import it, subbed or not...

I totally agree that Eureka 7 is one of the best Japan animes I've seen. It has an amazing storyline. Very addicting. The only bad thing I can think of is that I felt it was a little short lived. Left me kinda hanging almost but some people like that sort of thing... it keeps it short and sweet.... but for some reason you wish there was more. Bottom line... this anime is simply amazing! >_

Also, the movie is coming out, "Eureka seveN: Pocket Full Of Rainbows", and it will be continued by a SEASON 2 of Eureka seveN.

Season 2 Hint (It says volume 13, for really there are only 12 volumes (For first season), and volume 13 shows a picture of Eureka/Rentons Children! Excitement!!!):

ahh there are things I genuinly enjoyed about this anime, and a few glaring "flaws" that seem dismisable in retrospect. This is definitely one of the greatest mecha anime's ever made. I wish I payed more attention to it back when it first premiered on adult swim, almost felt like a sign to me...... omen even, cause adult swim hasant aired another show like it sense, blood plus was pretty good but at least giant mech wise there HASANT been another like it.... dont get me started on Code geass, I LIKE that show but it feels rather generic to me despite the fact that its well made.

    Is it really that good?
I will have to finish watching Full Metal Alchemist quickly an watch this one.
But so far, my favourite anime is Death Note. Extremely Clever, and well writtern.and doesn't go on for 200 episodes.... *cough* bleach *cough* also the ending was soooo good.
Anyway, I'm really exited about this anime if so many people like it though.

Hey, and did you know they have a manga? You guys should read it if you're really big fans of eureka seven because it's slightly different then the anime.. it's worth it to check it out.

actually the movies called pocket full of rainbows the sad part about it is since E7 was created in 2005 bones is thinking that many ppl forgot about E7

and so they are probably making the movie to test out and see if they come out wih a new series(remember im not sure of the new series). but the movies not continuing wut happened to Renton and Eureka on ep.50 , but a whole new adventure retelling it with a complete new ending(mythos as in the jap. magazine)

but wut many fans are saying is that its a test to see how many will buy the dvd and merchandise from the company and just maybe they will put out a new series...(supply and demand)

to wrap things up i suggest you reads some forums about it not just you but pass it around to all the E7 lovers out there

    this is the site

Hehe, that's exactly how I felt when I finished watching E7, too. I was so sad that it ended. Not many animes give you this feeling :)

On another note, I read that the Eureka 7 movie titled "Kokyo Shihen Eureka Seven: Pocket ga Niji de Ippai", which means basically "Eureka Seven: Psalms of Planets" will be released on April 2009... I can't wait!

I absolutely agree that this is the #1 anime ever made. Lol, I always feel crap after finishing series. It's like follow everyone developing and they all disappear once the series are done. With Eureka 7 this was the worst since the character development was simply sublime. Sigh ... I guess I'll go try out Rahxephon.

I find E7 to be quite similar to the legendary Neon Genesis Evangelion, although I personally prefer E7 since the story is not as complicated and has a more lighthearted tone. Not your average shounen anime which relies heavily on fanservice for its popularity, E7 is truly a remarkable masterpiece. The plot has sufficient depth to keep one continuingly intrigued and the character development is very well handled, with the characters' past being extensively exploited to provide a good contrast to their present self. Combine it with elements of adolescent romance, excellent artwork and inspiring soundtracks; and you have one of the most compelling anime out there in the market. Definitely on my all time favourites list among the likes of NGE and FMA.

I've been watching Anime/manga for about 10 years now and I can safely say Eureka 7 is one of the best anime series ever created. Not only does it portray several amazing themes but the way Bones tied in these themes with the story line is brilliant. I fell in love with each and every character in this series almost immediately. 5/5...no 6/5 Bones. Best Anime series ever created. Can't wait till the movie.

For those of you who enjoyed E7 you should try get a hold of Full Metal Alchemist, one of BONES' earlier works, it's also really good (not as good as E7 but still highly enjoyable)
